Cloud Audit Logs – Google Cloud’s audit logging service.
Google Cloud Audit Logs maintains three audit log streams: Admin Activity, Data Access, and System Events. It provides detailed logs of who did what, where, and when in Google Cloud resources. The service features fine-grained IAM controls for log access, supports log export to BigQuery for analysis, and enables real-time log streaming. Cloud Audit Logs includes customizable retention policies, supports organization-level logging, and provides detailed metadata about logged operations. It integrates with Cloud Monitoring for alerting and enables automated response through Cloud Functions.
