Cloud Interconnect – Google Cloud’s dedicated network connection.
Google Cloud Interconnect provides dedicated physical connections between on-premises networks and Google’s network. It includes both Dedicated Interconnect for direct connections and Partner Interconnect for connections through service providers. The service supports multiple connection speeds, VLAN attachment for logical separation, and BGP routing for dynamic path selection. Cloud Interconnect features redundant connections for high availability, supports IPv4 and IPv6, and enables hybrid cloud deployments. It provides monitoring through Cloud Monitoring and supports Cloud Router for dynamic route exchange.
