Azure DNS – Azure’s domain name system service.
Azure DNS is a hosting service for DNS domains providing name resolution using Microsoft Azure infrastructure. It supports zone transfers, DNSSEC, and alias records for Azure resources. The service includes private DNS zones for custom domain names in virtual networks and integration with Azure Traffic Manager. Azure DNS provides high availability through anycast networking, automated delegation setup, and DNS analytics. It features role-based access control and supports both IPv4 and IPv6 records.
