FSx – AWS’s managed file storage service.
Amazon FSx provides fully managed file systems for Windows File Server and Lustre. FSx for Windows supports SMB protocol, Active Directory integration, and DFS namespaces. The service features automatic backup, multi-AZ deployment options, and storage capacity optimization. FSx for Lustre provides high-performance file systems integrated with S3, supports both persistent and scratch deployment options, and enables high-speed data processing. Both services include encryption at rest and in transit, detailed CloudWatch monitoring, and IAM integration for access control.
