Persistent Disk – Google Cloud’s block storage service.

Google Cloud’s Persistent Disk provides durable block storage for compute instances. It offers different types of disks (Standard, Balanced, SSD, Extreme) with varying performance characteristics. Persistent Disks can be resized without downtime and support automatic encryption. They can be snapshotted for backup and can be attached to multiple instances in read-only mode. The service provides consistent performance and integrates with Google Cloud’s backup and disaster recovery solutions.
